I
went to spend a few days with Ruby. I felt extra lucky, because I also got to
meet her gorgeous new baby brother Frankie and her Nana and Grandad who were
here for a holiday.
On
the first day of my visit, Ruby and I got picked up from school and went straight
up The Peak! It was lovely to see the night time view, but Ruby's daddy didn't
do too well with the photo of that one!
After
the sightseeing and photos, we had a lovely meal at Bubba Gumps. I enjoyed
colouring with Ruby while we waited for our food.
After
dinner, me and Ruby had fun pretending to drive an old tram.
The
next day was a public holiday, so instead of going to school, we had a day out
in Stanley. We enjoyed shopping in the markets and walking along the sea
front.
There
was lots of unusual art work along the promenade. I really liked this one made
from plastic water bottles and blue water... Ruby said she would like to make one of these at school.
On
my final evening with the Moriarty's I felt brave enough to help with Frankie's
bedtime routine! I helped Ruby to give him his bath, which he really enjoyed.
Then I helped to dress him in his pyjamas. It was tricky dressing such a tiny
baby!
After
bath time, it was time for precious cuddles on the couch.
And
once Frankie was in bed, time for a well earned story with Ruby's daddy.
I
really enjoyed my time with Ruby and her family. I hope I can visit them again
in the future and see how Frankie has grown and changed.
